I opened my first vintage shop, Decadence, in 2006, specialising mainly in vintage fashion and accessories. In 2008 I moved from a bricks and mortar store to online and selling at events when I set up Frock Around The Clock, Northern Ireland’s first vintage and handmade fair. Over the years I have shifted from focusing on vintage fashion to a much more eclectic mix of vintage collectables so, in 2020, I made the decision to rebrand my vintage business, and Decadence became Trixie and Bea.

But, who are Trixie and Bea?

Trixie was my grandmother Marion Beatrix. She sparked my life-long interest in collecting vintage china and trinkets when she gave me, a young girl of seven, some curio shelves and a few treasures of my choice from her ornament collection. I am Bea (Becky) - that little girl who never outgrew her love of gazing into old china cabinets holding precious memories and treasures from the past. Over fifty years later I’m still passionate about collecting, and recycling, vintage and antique collectables - making new stories out of old. I just know that Trixie would approve!
